Presenting the equipment I will be taking with me to the desert

Hi folks, see the video where I present the gear I will be taking with me to the desert.

Don't forget that I have engaged in this adventure as a way to raise funds to a local charity. I'm still short £662 of my £2000 target. If you want to help me please donate a small amount by going to www.justgiving.com/Milton-Berger

4 weeks to go!

We need to energise! This blog is a bit quiet lately. I would like to see some contributions and words of encouragement from the many friends here. Let me know what you think about this trip, how do you think I should prepare, what should I take with me etc. Speak up! (and donate too:-))

I'm very happy! In these last two days the donations to Cash for Kids rose from £295 to £993, a fantastic rise of £698 in only two days!!! Many thanks to all of you who have contributed to it. We've already achieved 50% of our goal of £2000, but there is still another £1007 to go before the end of February. I'm confident we'll reach it and I'm counting on you all to share this with as much people as you can. To leave your contribution click here.

Journey Map

I've asked the event organisers for a detailed map of the route we will take, but I was informed that the actual route will depend on a variety of factors such as weather, water availability and other aspects. Therefore the best I have to share is this one here.

Solar Power

I have just bought a gadget that will allow me to be permanently connected with the world throughout my trekking. Have a look at the link. With this I will be able to keep my iPhone and camera always charged even with the nearest power socket being miles away.
